Providence Community Health Centers (PCHC) is a non-profit health care organization and the only Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Providence, Rhode Island. PCHC provides quality primary health care services that are affordable, comprehensive and culturally sensitive to more than 60,000 residents of Providence and its surrounding areas. Our services include: Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Behavioral Health, Optometry, Dental Care and Express Care (urgent care) alongside with selected specialty services. Our physicians are board certified.

With the well-being of our patients at the top of our agenda, we are dedicated to preventing most common medical problems. Our well-respected medical professionals work to control common chronic diseases, treat acute illnesses, and arrange for referrals to specialists.
Established in 1968, we are the largest primary health care provider in Providence and treat patients regardless of their ability to pay. In addition to our eight health centers, we also operate a school-based program, and a dental clinic serving children under the age of 19 and pregnant women.
