American Corporate Partners (ACP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting U.S. Veterans in their transition from the armed services to the civilian workforce. With the help of business professionals nationwide, ACP offers free mentorships for long-term career development to the veteran community. ACP's nationwide Veteran Mentoring Program connects veterans with corporate Mentors from America's top corporations and select universities for yearlong mentorships. Paired based on their career objectives and professional experience, a Mentor and veteran Protégé focus on topics ranging from résumé and interview skills to networking and industry-specific guidance. Any veteran who has served on active duty since 2001, including spouses of those wounded or killed in action, is eligible to apply. ACP Mentors have been provided a code to complete an application. ACP also offers ACP AdvisorNet (acp-advisornet.org), a career advice site that connects veterans with professionals who can review resumes, discuss business plans and create networking relationships. In our Question and Answer sections, veterans can seek the guidance and advice of thousands of Advisors. Veterans can also connect for one-on-one discussions via our Community section.
