Job Title: Credit Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a keen attention to detail, and preferably, a background in finance. This position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced computer environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. If you are reliable, committed, and willing to work the specified hours, we are happy to provide training.

Work Hours/Shift:

40 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Mondays to Wednesdays are office days
Thursdays and Fridays are remote
Technical Skills:

Must Have:

Associate Degree
Customer service experience
Attention to detail
Any kind of financial background is a bonus
Experience working in a fast-paced computer environment
Multitasking abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Time management skills
Nice To Have:

Background in Financial Accounting
Knowledge of Financial Management
Responsibilities:

Mitigate credit risk exposure by conducting reviews of incoming clients utilizing company payroll services.
Provide advanced client service and technical product support to internal and external partners.
Ensure timely and accurate problem resolution while mitigating risks.
Review and approve or deny credit authorizations, payments, or termination decisions up to $100,000 to mitigate potential risk.
Prepare recommendations to management on items exceeding $100,000.
Conduct credit reviews on new Payroll clients and interpret credit reports and financial trade data.
Identify and research potentially fraudulent clients, escalating matches to a supervisor and fraud investigations group.
Conduct daily reviews of incoming clients to determine potential matches to previous non-paying clients.
Address difficult client concerns and escalate critical situations to management for resolution.
Research and resolve product and service issues, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.
Participate in product-related projects or training sessions to stay updated on industry developments.
