Electronic Test Technicians - Military Veterans

Position: Electrical Test Technicians
Location: Poway, CA
Pay Rate: $32.00 - $35.00/hr
Duration: 1 year
Shifts Available:

1st Shift: 5am-2:30pm
2nd Shift: 3pm-12:30am

Duties & Responsibilities:

Test and troubleshoot at a component level
Set up, perform, and analyze experiments and tests
Record results and findings
Diagnose faults in electronic systems to the PWA level
Interpret and use electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, wire diagrams, and block diagrams
Operate test equipment: DMMs, O-scopes, power supplies, signal generators
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and integrated circuits to component level

Requirements:

Associate degree preferred
1-5+ years of experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of education)
Electronics/soldering or engineering certification
Military or technical school training/experience desirable
Knowledge of basic electronics: Ohm’s Law, OP-Amp circuit, AD/DC converter
Proficient with equipment: Oscilloscope, Voltmeter, Digital multimeter, Function Generator, ATE, Programming (ICD 2/3/4, CPLD, J-link)
Desired: Linux and DOS programming
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
High attention to detail
Flexible and adaptable to management changes
Good communication skills
Positive attitude
Team player
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearance required
