Job Description PATIENT SAFETY AND QUALITY PROGRAM COORDINATOR , MIT Health-Quality and Safety Team , to be responsible for supporting ongoing needs related to MIT Health's Clinical Quality and Patient Safety Program and associated MIT Health team members. Will identify, manage, and coordinate cross-functional process improvement activities related to known safety vulnerabilities and priorities, be responsible for reporting and analytics for the department, support the delivery of safe and high-quality patient care, and provide support for activities performed by the chief and associate chief of clinical quality and patient safety and the Quality and Safety team. Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree; at least two years of patient safety, clinical quality, process improvement, or related work experience in a healthcare environment; knowledge of safety reporting systems; ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; interest in and ability to work with data sets to display results according to goals; ability to clearly explain and follow standardized processes accurately and consistently; and ability to work with minimal oversight and cohesively within a team.
