LinQuest Corporation is hiring highly skilled and motivated candidates to provide support and expertise for the Combined Joint Task Force – Space Operations J8 as a Mission Analyst Subject Matter Expert.

In this role, you will provide mission analysis to understand disparities in warfighting requirements and capabilities across various space mission areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with staff throughout CJTF-SO, SpOC, USSPACECOM, and subordinate components to integrate and coordinate support of the directorate’s efforts by conducting research, analysis, and providing recommendations for the CJTF-SO.
  • Monitor progress of CJTF-SO J8’s tasks and respond to routine or nontechnical requests.
  • Identify warfighting requirements and capability disparities for joint space warfighting systems at the operational component level and support consolidating and communicating those disparities to USSPACECOM J8.
  • Analyze existing warfighting plans, strategies, and related CONOPS and CONEMPS to develop recommendations for requirements modifications to existing programs and new requirements in support of future programs.
  • Assist in identifying capability gaps and risk assessment documents and provide input for requirements that support USSPACECOM’s validation and advocacy processes within JCIDS, ICDs, DCRs, JEONs, and similar.
  • Complete limited admin duties including preparation and review of internal/external document and managing taskings using TMT on NIPRNet and SIPRNet.


Required Skills:

  • Experience in initiating and/or developing Government specified content for USSPACECOM J8, especially in the area of capability development and the Joint Capabilities Integrated Development System (JCIDS).
  • Specific expertise and proficiency in at least two of the following space mission areas:
    • Satellite Communications,
    • Missile Warning/Missile Defense,
    • Space Domain Awareness,
    • Command and Control,
    • Positioning/Navigation/Timing,
    • Space Control
  • Demonstrated experience in providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations for mission and program challenges.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to brief/interactive with senior (GO/FLAG) level officer and senior civilians.
  • An active TS with SCI and SAP eligibility is MANDATORY.


Desired Experience:

  • BA/BS or MA/MS desired.
  • Previous experience supporting USSPACECOM J8 desired.

Compensation:

  • The salary for this position ranges from approximately $100,000 to $120,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
