Harvard Allston Land Company (HALC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Harvard University, is charged with the development of thirty-six (36) acres in Harvard's Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) in Allston Massachusetts, which includes fourteen (14) acres of Planned Development Area No. 115 approved by the City of Boston in 2018. HALC, together with its development partner, is currently pursuing permitting approvals to develop roughly 900,000 square feet of new hotel, residential and office/lab space on the first seven (7) acres of the ERC known as Phase A. Subsequent development to follow. To support this development, HALC through its Construction Manager, constructs the enabling infrastructure, including, but not limited to a roadway network supporting local transportation requirements and building out utilities systems to provide access and distributions of water, sewer, drain, gas, electric, telephone and data infrastructure to the buildings. The Project Manager (PM) will manage assigned aspects of the enabling infrastructure process for the ERC, including direct coordination with consultants. The PM will report to the HALC Director of Infrastructure. Additional Qualifications and Skills Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred. Must have excellent time management, communication and presentation skills. Broad technical knowledge of construction and building systems. Ability to read and correctly interpret design and construction documents and blueprints, geotechnical reports, and real estate/building-related legal documents. Ability to interpret and effectively manage design and construction contracts. Ability to assist in effectively managing the development and maintenance of project budgets, cash flow projections and schedules. Experience with achieving sustainability, resiliency and environmental goals. Familiarity with City, State, and Federal codes, ordinances and regulatory compliance. Established ability to lead through influence and informed perspectives. Established skills in leading a team which builds alignment and trust, including flexibility and creativity in finding mutually-agreeable solutions within project constraints, and resolving confrontational issues as they arise. Established ability to manage expectations of multiple key stakeholders with competing needs and interests.
