**Position Summary:**
Penske Truck Leasing & Logistics is seeking an experienced Audit Manager with a passion for audit operations and management to join our team in Green Hills, PA. This leader will be responsible for Internal Audit Services activities focused on partnering with Penske Logistics business leaders, while leading a team in a fast-paced environment. This leader will oversee a team that collaborates on business operations, controllership, regulatory matters, and special projects focused on efficiency and effectiveness to support organizational objectives. You will work to ensure audit project momentum is thoughtful and optimized, processes are in place, communication is clear, events are planned, and audit reports are prepared and issued timely. Communication skills are paramount. Relationship management with all levels of Penske management, functional leaders, subject matter experts, external auditors, etc., will also be an important part of this role.
**Work Schedule: Partial Remote (2 days remote and 3 days onsite)**

**Major Responsibilities:**
* Manage audits and projects including planning, audit program development, resourcing, execution, and reporting phases by overseeing multiple teams comprised of both U.S. and India team members.
* Oversee and maintain department standards with support from assignment “in-charge” leads to ensure effective management of audit resources – includes setting timelines, deliverables, interim updates for leadership, and timely final report issuance in support of the annual audit plan as approved by Senior Management and the Audit Committee.
* Direct and support external audit efforts, including but not limited to annual year-end financial statements, Sarbanes-Oxley assessment, SSAE18 audit, etc.
* Lead audit staff in the development and implementation of automated audit approaches and data analytics (i.e., IDEA, ACCESS, Qlikview, etc.).
* Champion controllership through the internal audit process, institute measures and controls throughout business processes.
* Develop creative recommendations for process improvements and profitability initiatives as part of audits, projects, and management requests.
* Lead by example, set a positive tone, and maintain a hands-on approach while juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.
* Foster business relationships to develop value add audit solutions to the business.
* Mentor associates in meeting business, departmental, and personal objectives.
* Spearhead staff development, training, performance & career management discussions, and make promotional recommendations. Through coaching discussions, support company bench strength and future leader development.
* Liaison for U.S. and India teams to ensure effective resource planning and cross-training strategies.
* Lead department recruiting effort, including interviewing and hiring recommendations.
* Work under pressure while instilling business confidence in both individuals & teams.
* Other projects and tasks as assigned by the leadership team.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or IT required. Master’s degree a plus
* A professional certification required (CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE)
* 7 plus years auditing and/ or accounting experience required
* 3 plus years audit management experience required
* Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and grow teams of highly-motivated, business focused, productive associates preferably in an Agile environment
* Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong computer and data analytical skills
* Excellent analytical and conceptual skills and ability to troubleshoot required
* Experienced in project management and presentation skills required
* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Access required
* Audit software analytical skills (ACL, IDEA) a plus
* Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
