Supports the Branch/ATM Analytics Manager by recommending, designing, and implementing quantitative analytical solutions to Branch/ATM Transformation business problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time. 
1. Organize and maintain key data, metrics, and benchmarks describing branch and ATM attributes, performance, and efficiency; and recommend Branch/ATM Transformation group strategies and initiatives based on analysis of the data.
2. Lead subject matter expertise on key software, systems, and databases crucial to data management and analytics.
3. Develop and maintain, including maintenance and model risk group approvals as required, predictive models and  quantitative decision tools.
4. Identify and evaluate new data sources and vendors to provide the best information for effective analysis and decision making.
5. Forecast the anticipated outcome of network transformation actions such as branch closures, de novos, major renovations, and ATM deployment (network enhancement, leave behind at branch closure, deposit taking, ITM) as inputs to the financial modelling process for Resource Allocation Committee (RAC) decision-making and Network Strategy and Planning group.
6. Measure the results versus forecast of network transformation initiatives with test and learn implications for future strategies, actions, and decisions.
7. Identify clients most likely to be affected by branch and ATM network optimization activities and coordinate strategies to mitigate client loss and dissatisfaction for Network Strategy and Planning and Network Execution groups.
8. Design and implement creative analytical approaches and solutions to problem-solve emerging or episodic ad hoc situations (for example, prioritizing temporary branch capacity reductions for COVID-19) and deliver analysis results and recommendations within stipulated deadlines.
9. Support management of relevant vendor relationships (models, data, and software) to mitigate risk and maximize return on investment.
Required Qualifications:

1. College Degree
2. Ten years of experience
3. Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis techniques
4. Proficiency in MS Office, analysis (statistical and geospatial), reporting, and presentation software
5. Programming experience (SAS, R, Python, VBA)
6. Active in creative idea generation and thought leadership
7. Ability to exert influence and accomplish tasks by persuading and encouraging support, cooperation, and knowledge sharing with resources in other functions both within and outside of this line of business
8. Outstanding verbal and written communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:
1. MBA or Masters Degree in Business or Data Science and Analytics
2. At least 2 years of experience in retail banking or equivalent
