Description: The primary purpose of this position is to provide oversight for a 1.2 million HBCU Health Equity Data Consortium Project funded by the NC Department of Health and Human Services. The Program Specialist will create and manage data systems such as SharePoint and secured excel files. The individual will be the main point of contact for various NC universities involved in the project as partnering institutions. The professional will plan and lead Consortium meetings, consultant meetings and meetings for students involved in the research. Additionally this individual will serve as a contact for the community. Primary Function of Organizational Unit: The primary function of the unit is to provid healthcare services. This project will provide health equity data for the state of North Carolina. Internal job number: 009960 Requirements: Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in the area of assignment, of which at least one is supervisory or in a lead-worker capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Preferred: At Least 5 years experience coordinating community grant projects.
