Position description Faculty Position in Gastroenterology. The Department of Medicine ( http://med.ucsd.edu ) at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Division of Gastroenterology is actively recruiting a physician scientist. Clinical and teaching responsibilities will include Hepatology, Transplant Hepatology and endoscopy. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Candidates must have clinical training including completion of an accredited Hepatology fellowship with UNOS certification. Candidates must also have a research interest and expertise in the area of clinical or laboratory based research in liver diseases.
