**_Onsite/Remote:_** _Partial Remote Position_

_The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule_ **_YEAR-ROUND._**

**Your Responsibilities**

+ Provide support to Engine Application Engineers expediting part and engine shipments, procurement, and storage

+ Support the development and maintenance of project management tools, spreadsheets, metric reports, and the department website

**What Skills You Need**

+ Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or Engineering; others may apply

+ Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university

+ Graduation date of May 2024 or later

+ Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

+ Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly

+ Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly

+ Must be able to commute to the work location in Waterloo, Iowa, approximately 2 days weekly year-round

+ Good interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

+ High level of attention to detail and accuracy

+ Strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to work independently

+ Experience with Microsoft Applications: Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook

+ Work experience at John Deere or other professional experience

+ Basic understanding of engines and mechanical systems

+ Knowledge on VBA scripting, HTML, and/or JavaScript

+ Access, Project, SharePoint, Power Apps, and InfoPath experience
