Job Description
This can be a work-from-home opportunity anywhere in the U.S.A.

This role is responsible for having the ability to price and certifying Individual Medicare Advantage bids for all products offered by the local market health plan.

The actuary will collaborate with business partners to provide sound risk management advice, drive market strategic discussions/decisions, and communicate recommendations to senior leadership. Anticipated and recognize matters that materially affect financial results and make sound, unbiased recommendations on these matters.

In addition, this position will require programming skills, Microsoft products, SQL and exposure to VBA and Python, other languages are a plus.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 60,300
Maximum: 130,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience.
Be proficient in Microsoft products, SQL and exposure to VBA and Python.

Medicare Advantage experience highly desired

Must be an ASA or FSA and is typically a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (or other accredited actuarial organization) able to sign state rate filings and other required actuarial certifications.

Preferred Qualifications
Same as required.
