BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and project support to the Facilities Maintenance and In-House Maintenance Departments. Preparing department reports, project cost analysis, correspondence, and phone support.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide project and administrative support for the Facilities Maintenance and In-House Maintenance Departments
  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, scanning, phone support, etc.
  • Handle department Accounts Payable, vendor accounts and set up, reports, invoice processing, statements, and cost analysis
  • Assist with all aspects of the Facilities Maintenance Department
  • Handle other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • HS Diploma or equivalent required
    • College Degree is a plus
  • Experience:
    • 1 -2 years office experience
    • 1+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
    • 1+ years of SAP Accounting experience

 

      SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Hard skills: Intermediate level of Microsoft Office skills, data entry
    • Soft Skills: Able to multi-task; excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong time management skills, strong organization skills, sense of urgency, dependable and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
