- Receives, analyzes, and prioritizes incoming work orders, including emergency and priority work, and promptly assigns and dispatches to the appropriate field service personnel for the most efficient and effective use of manpower.

- Reviews and determines appropriate action needed for public safety, to expedite the restoration of customer service, and to update BGE records.

- Handles complex, multi-functional assignments independently and, at times, under demanding and assiduous circumstances.

- Manages, controls, and adjusts workload and manpower resources.

- Analyzes and interprets customer records.

- Responds to inquiries from Customer Care Center and other Company departments, as well as municipal, state, and emergency service agencies.

- Communicates to all affected departments any related problem and/or conditions that could hinder operations.

- Utilizes independent judgment and analysis for the coordination and monitoring of specific projects/tasks.

- Uses various Company computer applications and systems related to outage management, work management, dispatch, asset management, and customer information.

- Provides assistance to Work leaders and Supervisor and may assume responsibility when neither is present.

- May perform other job duties as assigned.

- Required to work some holidays, weekends, storm related job functions and overtime.

- Rotational and Saturday/Sunday schedule required.



- Basic knowledge of field related processes, procedures, and distribution territory relative to Integrated Field Services operations.

- Working knowledge of standard Company software applications and systems.

- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with limited time constraints.

- Demonstrated ability to handle high volumes of work and multiple tasks.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to details.

- Valid drivers license and ability to meet Company driving standards.

- Four years experience related to the analysis of work orders and dispatching, or equivalent combination of formal education/training and experience.
