At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Logistics Analyst, you will be trusted to work independently and deliver agile solutions. In this role, a typical day will include:
- Maintaining good communication with the team
- Support element for four offices within the Sponsor Group
- The office is a fast paced supporting a dynamic mission
- Candidate will be assigned to various offices within WMA supporting mainly Fleet Management and various logistical duties pertaining to preventative maintenance and scheduling of vehicles
- Candidate must be able to utilize appropriate databases such as Sponsor Procurement Systems to input applicable vehicle data and should be able to ensure that vehicles are operable and provide recommendations to the Staff on scheduled maintenance
- Fleet Management is required throughout the WMA traveling to/from various vendors and locations. The selected candidate will work in a team often shuttling vehicles to/from various maintenance shops
- The position will require a high level of autonomy in typically transactional format with scheduling vehicles for maintenance
- Expected to work independently and be able to shuttle government vehicles to/from places of services for a variety of vehicles. Some vehicles will have lights/sirens and other law enforcement enhancements that are added after the vehicles are purchased
- Communication will require both verbal and written as some transaction will need face-to-face interactions with various outside vendors
- Flexibility is given for the schedule with start times being dictated by the hours on the maintenance facilities and there should be no additional hours required
- Travel will be based in WMA to help facilitate vehicle services or preventative maintenance of fleet
- Schedule of 8 hours will be between 6am-6pm
- Position requires basic skill levels with Outlook, Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- Having minimal guidance, utilize Sponsor inventory database, will monitor and update information into a preventative maintenance schedule
- Will proactively coordinate maintenance related operations and provide assistance with questions on routine/scheduled maintenance and fleet management of Sponsor's current vehicle fleet
- Ensure all vehicles are ready for daily operation (cleaned, fueled, and inspected). Vehicle fleet will consist of around 15-175 vehicles ranging from sedans to pickup trucks
- High level of tracking and updating information to include monthly mileage reports and monitoring databases for service requests
- Candidate will work in coordination with government logistics officers to gain approvals for goods and services from vendors
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS Diploma
- 4 years of experience
- TS/SCI w/polygraph
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office including proficiency with Outlook, including Excel and Word at the basic level
- Candidate should have prior knowledge of Sponsor procurement systems at an intermediate level; otherwise, training can be provided
- Basic knowledge of fleet management
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's record
