The Boeing Company is seeking motivated Facilities Project Administrators to join our Facilities and Asset Management (F&AM) team located in Berkeley/St. Louis, Missouri.

We are currently hiring for Entry Level and Associate experience levels. Position Responsibilities:

  • With assistance, evaluate vendor proposals for small scale projects such as construction, rearrangements, moves, and asset acquisition

  • Coordinate & oversee contractor activities, schedule adherence, site conditions, safety & budget

  • With assistance, obtain facilities design (Boeing & contract) & resource commitments for projects

  • Develop work packages that may include budget/funding source, schedule, drawings, specifications, statement of work, procurement, and estimates

  • Use work management system in order to document, track, and perform work

  • Coordinate with customers, designers, SHEA, crafts, security, and network infrastructure to create implementation plans

  • Assemble & release work packages by collecting and integrating documents such as facilities work orders, contract service requests, drawings, vendor quotes, schedules, and permits

  • Meet with customers to define requirements & collect data for project designs

  • Identify options with customers to clarify needs, develop preliminary scope of work to meet requirements; create layouts & assist with conceptual designs

  • With guidance, ensure compliance with Boeing & regulatory standards such as city, county, state, federal

  • Develop options so that facilities modifications are accomplished within project objectives

  • Work with affected parties to define functionality and constructability; provide data for cost estimates

  • Negotiate options with customers to determine best solutions for customer & company

  • Ensure closeout and retention of project & contract files for audits, etc. (Records Retention, Internal Audit, Internal Revenue Service, Property Accounting, Legal, and Facilities)

  • With assistance, monitors and coordinates implementation activities on small-scale projects, such as relocations, construction, utility shutdowns, budget management, schedule, and project reviews

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. The current expectation is to primarily work onsite, with the opportunity to work remotely 2 days each week based on business needs.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience gathering data and developing presentations using that data in PowerPoint

  • Experience working with and/or interpreting engineering data or engineering drawings

  • Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Gantt charts, MS PowerPoint, status charts, resource load charts)

  • Experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables

  • Experience with Microsoft office suite

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience  

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience using AutoCAD or a similar CAD package

  • Experience monitoring & coordinating implementation activities such as relocations, construction, utility shutdowns, budget management, schedule & project reviews

  • Experience using Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems

Typical Education & Experience: 
Entry Level (Level 1): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).

Associate Level (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master + 1 year’s related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range for entry level:  $56,950 – $77,050

Summary pay range for associate level: $68,850 - $93,150
