Our client, a leading manufacturer of Display Cases, Specialty Products, Refrigeration Systems, Power Systems and many other  Comprehensive glass door/ intelligent merchandising systems, is currently hiring several first and second shift Automation Technicians, Electronic Technicians  and Maintenance Technicians. These roles are all Direct Hire. 

Following is the job description for the Maintenance Technician:

Summary:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the daily, safe, efficient, and effective operations of all plant equipment and machinery in accordance with established policies and procedures. 

What you will be responsible for in this role: 
Examining, testing,  maintaining and repairing plant machinery and equipment,  to assure safe and efficient operations.
Actively participate in safety programs and committees, supporting and maintaining a safe work environment. 
Inspecting, maintaining and the repair of cooling and heating systems. 
Repair and installation of pipes, fittings, fixtures, and other plumbing duties as required.
Maintain and repair pumps, valvtiones and motors as required by management.
Records and logs maintenance repairs and inspections.
Follow good housekeeping practices for maintenance: washing, cleaning, maintaining tools and other equipment. 
Assist in snow and ice removal from company sidewalks and driveways.
Operate forklifts and company vehicle as required. 
Maintain and trouble-shoot equipment to enhance their operation.
Understand and communicate technical information through use of written, oral documentation. 

Basic qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Electrical knowledge ranging from 110 Volts of power to 480 Volts (3 phase). 

Preferred qualifications:
2-year degree in industrial technology or 3-5 years’ experience related to industrial electrical, industrial welding or industrial plumbing preferred.
Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining industrial equipment such as break presses, punch presses and other similar equipment. 

Following is the job description for the  Automation Technician:
The Automation Technician will be responsible improving machine efficiency through technology improvements, troubleshooting and supporting Continuous Improvement. Primarily interfacing with Maintenance, Continuous Improvement and Operations to lead and support Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE). 

What you’ll be responsible for in this role: 
Monitors installed equipment to detect hazards, problems, and the need for service, repair and/or replacement of electrical, electronic and mechanical components. 
Reads and understands electronic and electrical schematics; draws sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of electrical units. 
Maintains backups of programs from all electronic devices. 
Support Wireless networks for machine control.
Trouble-shoot / repair both hardware and software for variable frequency drives, controllers, Programmable Logic Controllers, etc. 
Analyzes and interprets programs from drives and controllers and PLCs to improve performance and assist troubleshooting. 
Identify and implement downtime, quality, or efficiency improvement projects in automated systems.
Support startup or add new product/process in automated systems. 
Work cross-functionally to improve overall automated system OEE. 
Keeps work area clean, orderly, and free of hazards. 

Qualifications: 
Associates degree in Electronics Technology.
Minimum Two (2) years’ experience within electrical or electronics field.
Five (5) years of experience within electrical or electronics field. 
Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC’s; ability to use AB software to perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot, writing or re-writing code (Ladder Logic, Function Block, Statement List, etc.).
Preferred: Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of Fanuc robotics; ability to use Fanuc software to perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot, writing or re-writing code (Motion Pro, Teach Pendant, IR Vision, etc.) 

Highly preferred:
Completion of a trade apprenticeship (journeyman electrical, etc.). 
Able to work other shifts and overtime to complete work as needed; willing to be on call to support production needs. 
AutoCAD and Solidworks experience 
Basic proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
Able to prepare technical reports for documenting issues/changes to equipment. 
Able to manage projects for implementing changes and improvements. 
Responsible for their own work and must exercise care and compliance of all established safety procedures. 

Following is the job description for the Electronics Technician:
Summary:
Electronics/ Electro-Mechanical Technician needed who will be responsible for routine maintenance support to  the operations departments in a highly automated environment. This multi-craft position (electrical, mechanical, and electronic) will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical, electronic, and electrical industrial equipment for a designated department within the plant. The ideal candidate must have a continuous improvement mindset while achieving the overall objectives with preventative maintenance and quick repair for trouble calls from Production Leaders. 

What you will be responsible for in this role: (list job duties/responsibilities):
Assists other Technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment. 
Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g., multi-meter, laptop).
Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot & repair electrical, electronic systems, control and components of industrial machines, tools, and production/utility equipment. 
Diagnose, repair, and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. Including but not limited to seals, gaskets and bearings on motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, etc. 
Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, PC logic controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/Output (I/O) devices where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious. 

Qualifications:
Enrolled in, or completed Trade/Technical School certification highly-preferred.
3+ years Mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
3+ years plus Electrical troubleshooting and repair. 
5+ years Mechanical troubleshooting and repair. Also 5. Yrs. experience with PLC’s / Allen Bradley PLC’s. 
5+ years plus Electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Experience in robotics preferred.
Controls Troubleshooting experience. 
Networking Troubleshooting experience.
Must be able to follow instructions and exercise good judgment. 
Strong knowledge of electrical power and control, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanic principals. 
Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. 
Knowledge to troubleshoot causes of operating errors and decide the best course of action to fix. 
Must be proficient using all electrical measuring instruments. 
Ability to install equipment, machine controls, conduit, and wiring. 
Ability to repair machines or systems using the required tools. 
Must have working knowledge of Lockout/Tag our procedures, NEC rules and regulations. 
Must have ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently. 
Must have good teamwork and communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision. 
Must have computer skills necessary to interface with machinery programs.
