About the Role:

The IT PLM Analyst supports the Windchill PLM system and its related applications (e.g., Creo, Tibco, PDMLink, ThingWorx/Navigate, etc.) across all phases of program design, development, testing, and operations. This role includes administering, configuring, customizing, and developing capabilities associated with the PLM system. In addition, this expert shall implement and maintain processes that leverage the toolset's capabilities, integrate Windchill with third-party applications, develop reports, and ensure the ongoing health of the system. It also includes working with internal customers and IT partners (i.e., external providers) for service delivery.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform PLM system configuration to solve business issues, implement enhancements and prototype new functionality.
  • Design and deliver high quality solutions that meet overall business requirements.
  • Adhere to Woodward IT standards, governance, and policies.
  • Actively participate as a team member in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, creating system specifications, documentation, and training materials.
  • Assist in building test plans, test scripts, and facilitating cross-functional systems testin


Experience Required:

  • Basic familiarity and knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts.
  • Strong desire to learn, leverage, and configure the PLM software to meet business requirements.
  • Basic understanding of system life cycle methodologies
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of Project Management
  • Basic familiarity with business systems and manufacturing environments.
  • Understanding and knowledge of various functional areas within the PLM products, including part management, document management, change management, access controls, lifecycles, object types, and workflow.
  • Experience with Windchill PLM in and Engineering/Manufacturing environment is preferred.
