Position Summary
As the Engineering Manager for our Edmond factory, you will support, lead and develop a team of engineers and maintenance personnel who oversee mechanical, electrical, industrial and safety system operations. You will be responsible for the strategic vision, budget and execution of plant capital projects. You will coordinate the engineering and maintenance teams to resolve plant operational concerns and identify opportunities for continuously improving processes, productivity, safety and efficiency. In this role, you will proactively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results.
• Apply expert understanding of factory operations to effectively engage, leverage and develop engineering and maintenance personnel
• Create and strategically apply the annual capital budget to address equipment maintenance and facility improvements
• Manage the cost, schedule, performance and safety of all capital projects, maintenance and engineering staff
• Oversee outside contractors to ensure compliance with all company standards including safety, quality and value
• Partner with operations leaders to identify areas of opportunity to improve integrated manufacturing processes
• Champion total productive maintenance (TPM) through management, problem solving and project implementation
• Master plant process flows, utility flows, capacities, practices and procedures to ensure factory energy efficiency, environmental prioritization and compliance
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 7+ years of progressive engineering experience, including project management and people leadership, within a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
