Your Impact:
Manages program operations to ensure production schedules are met, system resources are utilized effectively, and the proper relationships are established between customers. Responsible for Cost, schedule, performance, integration, and risk identification/mitigation on projects including, but not limited to, systems, tools, equipment, software, facilities, and other activities. Coordinates resolutions to production related problems.
Responsibilities:
- Provides Program Manager with support by overseeing the transition schedule of the Task Order to ensure all projects move together towards meeting established goals and objectives.
- As Transition Manager, shall work with the COR to capture key elements to ensure smooth transition at the end of the Period of Performance.
- Acts as the Program Manager (PM) when the PM is absent and shall have the full authority to act for the Contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operations of this Task Order.
- Conceptualize, create, and manage an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for all tasks, data rights, and intellectual property artifacts, program management actions, and reporting requirements, ensuring traceability of all studies, model development, and project milestones.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders across various program workflows to gather schedule date, including discrete events, outlining dependencies among events and schedule.
- Analyze data for schedule and critical path impacts to the program.
- Develop and support executive reporting, as needed.
- Provide information for program planning/forecasting for operating projects.
- Interface with Team Leads, supporting vendors, and Logistics/Technical/Business representatives to receive schedule inputs and integrate them into the schedule.
- Create, analyze, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules in Microsoft Project.
- Generate Integrated Master Schedule formats and outputs as required by the PM.
- Participate in Project Meetings and support development of Milestone Schedule charts and conduct vendor’s IMS for all Design Reviews and Program Management Reviews for leadership briefings.
- Apply principles of project management developing large, complex schedules.
- Performs program schedule analysis, to include Metrics, Critical Path, Float, and Schedule variances.
- Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.
- Acts as scheduling subject matter expert and mentors the program staff with regards to scheduling.
- Analyzes and integrates project data from multiple sources, to include strategic and authoritative guidance and source documents, stakeholder Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs), financial and budgetary processes and timelines, and other dynamic actions.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.
- Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, APICS Production Management certification, or Defense Acquisition University (DAU) equivalent is highly desirable.
Preferred:
- Previous experience supporting DIA MSIC is preferred.
