The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of California Riverside anticipates hiring temporary, part-time Instructors for a variety of courses, to be taught throughout the 2022-2023 Academic Year. Fall Quarter runs September 19, 2022 - December 13, 2022; Winter Quarter runs January 4, 2023 - March 28, 2023; and Spring Quarter runs March 29, 2023 - June 20, 2023. *All Positions are contingent upon funding. Basic qualifications required at time of application for this position include: Demonstrated experience or show promise in University/College teaching. Additional qualifications required at time of hire for this position include: a Ph.D. in Physics and/or Astronomy to be considered for a General Physics Lecture Course; an M.S. or Ph.D. (preferred) in Physics and/or Astronomy to be considered for a General Physics Laboratory course. Preferred qualifications for this position: Teaching experience at the college level.
