As a Mechanical Engineer for Bently Nevada, you will be tasked with managing and executing a customer long term service contract.  You will be responsible for the successful execution of the supporting service contract with the expectation of contract growth.  You will evaluate customer service needs based on customer critical assets, asset protection system, and asset monitoring systems.  You will provide input to developing a comprehensive supporting service maintenance & reliability plan to enhance and support customers maintenance & reliability programs.  You will build customer relationship; manage contractual obligations; be responsible for financial commitments to the business as well as service commitments to the customers.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

  • Performing Bently Protection 3300 & 3500 Health Audits, Baselines, and troubleshooting.
  • Providing TIL Information and recommendations.
  • Providing Spare Parts evaluation & recommendations
  • Identifying between hardware/software and actual asset health issues
  • Advising and recognizing asset health issues and work with customer towards resolution, including bringing in a Machinery Diagnostic Services Engineer.
  • Performing Protection Monitoring, System Instrumentation, and System communication maintenance and diagnostics using Bently System1® monitoring hardware & Software.
  • Managing and execute contract in the Oil & Gas Market
  • Assessing job site Safety and perform services as per Baker Hughes Health, Safety, & Environmental Policies
  • Managing multiple customer projects simultaneously.
  • Performing Asset Management / Reliability Service Studies
  • Understanding contractual commitments and complete them in a timely manner.
  • Performing trouble-shooting of Bently Nevada Hardware.
  • Timely completion of standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements
  • Reacting to customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Completing Documentation of findings / recommendations
  • Being able to professionally communicate with customer and other team members
  • Driving customer satisfaction through commitment to quality.
  • Coordinatin Baker Hughes resources to accomplish additional customer requirements beyond base contracts

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Field or 10 Years Field experience
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, as required
  • Valid US Passport and Driving License
  • Ability to obtain TWIC Card
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English language
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision requirement; able to work independently; ability to prioritize, organize work, and meet deadlines
  • Efficient computer skills; both Hardware and Software, plus MS Office software skills
  • Equipment Maintenance & Reliability Knowledge
