Position Specific Description

The role involves working on a team that is focused on high-priority NEER Development Finance related initiatives. Initiative projects involve solving complex problems, mitigating process gaps and risks, and improving operating performance across the renewable energy (wind, solar, and battery) development teams and other corporate support functions. This job will use project management skills to work with internal clients through all stages of strategy-based initiatives that transform and enhance the NEER Development business.

The core duties of this role involve:
  • Quickly understands business unit operating models and issues
  • Develops hypothesis and solutions grounded in solid data analysis
  • Works collaboratively with business leaders, change management leaders, and operators to guide and influence outcomes
  • Prepares and communicates recommendations through PowerPoint to NextEra executives
  • Simultaneously owns and manages a volume of initiative project plans and the related collaboration with the various affected business units

This job will use business management consulting skills to work with internal clients through all stages of strategy-based transformation engagements.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides thought leadership and execution support on client assignments to craft strategy
• Conducts both client and market development to grow the business
• Consults with clients to identify, clarify, and solve problems critical to clients' strategy and operating success
• Develops conclusions and recommendations, writes reports, assists in client presentations and provides implementation assistance as required
• Constructs the analytical framework and work steps for each assignment, and leads the problem solving process associated
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
