This role will be performed at the client site in Jamestown, North Dakota.

The Licensed Project Engineer Lab Manager will:

  • Engineer/Manager will sign/stamp all QA reports. 
  • Ensure the lab is validated through the Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Materials Testing Center and maintains validation.  
  • Will provide training to Government employees on performing proper lab testing.  
  • Run/maintain the lab.  
  • Work closely with QC lab personnel.  
  • Provide supervision and work direction for the two Engineering Lab Technicians
  • Attend meetings. 
  • Personnel may be requested to provide training in proper inspection techniques to government employees, junior government employees, and government hired students.  
  • Write reports as needed.

Additional Information: Work 8 hours per day (Monday through Friday), plus OT as needed during active construction, which will include weekends and all hours of the day (including all nights) as needed.  Work hours will be reduced during winter months/non-construction times. The Lab may also be staffed with Government employees who will also assist with QA sample procurement and testing. 

Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • Minimum 10 years of related Engineering/Management Lab experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Materials Engineer/Lab Manager licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of North Dakota
  • US Citizenship
