Associate Vice President, Graduate and Online Enrollment Management Description In collaboration with the Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Associate Vice President for Graduate and Online Enrollment Management (AVP) will provide effective leadership and strategic direction in managing graduate and online recruitment and enrollment. The AVP will work with key university faculty and staff to create, implement, and proactively evaluate enrollment management strategies that reflect the university's mission, goals and strategic plan. The AVP will work closely with the Director of Enrollment Marketing & Communication and the Global Marketing & Communication team to ensure effective and consistent image and branding for graduate and online programs. The AVP will serve as a key member of the Vice President for Enrollment Management's leadership team and will work with the deans, faculty, and staff to develop effective recruitment and enrollment plans in established and emerging markets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Provides supervision and oversight to recruitment and engagement team and virtual one-stop team including all human resource functions (hiring, discipline, performance evaluations, professional development). Develops short and long-term goals and metrics for graduate and online student recruitment based on the university strategic enrollment plan. Collaborates with the Vice President for Enrollment Management to create and implement recruitment and retention plans for graduate and online students. Collaborates with enrollment units (admissions, registrar, financial aid, advising) to develop business processes and policies for graduate and online students that reduce barriers to initial and continued enrollment. Ensures graduate and online departments provide responsive, consistent student services in full compliance with applicable federal and state regulations and university policies. Manages departmental budgets, allocating resources in alignment with the university Strategic Enrollment Plan. Collaborates with the VP for Enrollment Management and the Director of Enrollment Marketing & Communication to develop and enhance communication plans for prospective graduate and online students and build marketing materials. Manage enrollment data collection, process, and integrity for graduate and online programs. Provide regular reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Sr. Leadership to share updates on enrollment and recruitment strategies. Regularly monitor and evaluate the most effective recruitment initiatives; develop target market profiles for undergraduate (online) and graduate programs (all modalities and locations) to drive recruiting activities. Assist with market assessments to better inform recruitment initiatives. Works with college and school representatives to coordinate recruiting activities for graduate and online programs. Collaborate with the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Operations and the University CIO to develop enrollment technology designed to improve the enrollment process. Makes recommendations for technology needed to scale enrollment in graduate and online space. Secondary Duties and Responsibilities* Attend important recruiting, admissions and community-based events to market graduate and online programs to prospective students. Other duties as assigned. Assist Online Learning Center to ensure online courses are designed effectively. Location: Webster Groves Campus-WEBG Minimum Qualifications Master's degree required Candidate will have at least ten years of experience with seven years of progressively responsible leadership experience in graduate and/or online enrollment. Demonstrated ability to be an effective and creative leader. The ability to introduce and lead sustainable change within a university context. Exceptional planning and organization skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administrators. Ability to use good judgment, think critically, and communicate effectively. The ability to effectively mentor a team. Knowledge in the areas of enrollment management, financial aid, registration, admissions, advising and billing. Ability to analyze regional, national, and global markets and devise effective recruitment strategies and tactics to meet enrollment. CRM Experience required. Preferred Qualifications SLATE CRM experience preferred.
