Provide administrative support for student programming, departmental programming, and the new student orientation program. Act as a purchasing agent, manage disbursements, and approve departmental and club expenditures to ensure they are within institutional and IRS financial policies. Train student leaders and club auditors on policies related to fiscal responsibility, the payment of taxes, and the appropriate use of the student activity fee. Serve as a liaison between the CSB and SJU Business Offices and clubs to ensure the procurement and disbursement of student-activity-fee-funded organizations are supported. Provide administrative support for the Co-Funding Board and provide guidance and direction and ensure institutional and departmental policies are followed.  Support and assist the CSB and SJU Senate auditors in their work with club treasurers. Assist with the recruitment, hiring, and training of student employees. Monitor monthly student employment reports.  Monitor and update the department website and the online resources provided to student clubs. Oversee and control systems for maintaining an online store and managing cash intake. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities. Minimum Requirements: Demonstrated experience with office operations. Demonstrated experience with financial management such as budget management and expense reporting.  Proficiency with technology and computer software, including Microsoft Office, web page design, and experience with institutional data software applications such as Banner. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively with diverse constituencies and administrative lines. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgement and discretion High school diploma required. Preferred Requirements: Experience with institutional data software such as Banner.
