Job Description
  • Provide instrument, controls, and electrical systems engineering support required to maintain all aspects of site instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems.
  • Provide similar function in support of construction projects Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Lead electrical and instrumentation projects and/or maintenance work to ensure compliance with the national electrical code and site permits.
    • Participate in the development of project design concepts and criteria.
    • Provide and modify instrument and electrical drawings as needed.
    • Write and/or modify programs used by site programmable logic controllers, programmable drives, human machine interfaces, and distributive control systems.
    • Prepare electrical and instrumentation estimates for projects.
    • Act as a project manager or proposal manager on small, electrical and instrumentation projects.
    • Monitor project progress for technical accuracy and adherence to schedule and budget.
    • Represent respective projects at meetings and conferences.
    • Provide technical support for the facility's instrument and electrical maintenance department.
Qualifications
  • BS in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
