Acquisition Program Protection Analyst DEI-R

PAE is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Level III Analyst to execute analytical tasks utilizing both analytical techniques and processes for the Statement of Work within their specific functional/task area. The Analyst will be responsible for developing and utilizing analytical tools, techniques, processes, and procedures for technical and/or administrative support activities. The successful candidate will have and be able to apply excellent oral and written communication skills.

This position is in support of the Missile Defense Agency. Locations include: Redstone Arsenal AL, Ft Belvoir VA, Dahlgren VA, Schriever AFB CO.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of eight years' experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs / projects
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree relevant to the Security/CI fields preferred
  • Works independently and/or leads teams to analyze and resolve problems

Clearance Required:
  • Secret to TS with SCI eligibility

Special Qualifications: In addition to the Basic Qualifications listed above, the following specific qualifications are required by Task/Function area:

Acquisition Program Protection Analyst:
  • In addition to the minimum eight years' experience listed above, this requisition presents an opportunity to fill a broad range of distinct experience requirements. Those individuals with experience in providing program security support to DoD acquisition are encouraged to apply
  • 2-5 years DoD Acquisition Security experience
  • 2-5 years' experience organizing and leading multi-disciplined security teams
  • 2-5 years' experience coordinating policy/technical issues with outside agencies/OSD level coordination
  • Experience with controlling highly competitive information via secure techniques
  • Trained in conducting Security Assessments within 1 year
  • Experience with interacting and providing support/assistance to customers
  • Experience or education adaptable to analytical document review within the DoD (e.g., Intelligence Analyst, Background Investigator, Declassification Reviewer)
  • HRRDR Certified within 1 month
  • 6 or more years of relevant experience in a minimum of Access Control, INFOSEC, and Physical Security disciplines
  • DoD information Security Program experience IAW DoDM 5200.01 Vol 1-3.
  • Records Liaison Officer trained within 2 months
  • Trained as a MDA Quality, Safety and Mission Assurance inspector within 6 months and subject to course availability.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Office Specialist Expert certification
  • Current Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
