About this role:
Apprentices within the U.S. Department of Labor accredited Apprenticeship program perform a variety of structured duties, including a combination of (however, not limited to) on-the-job training, coursework and mentorship, under the supervision of a hiring manager, program manager and a mentor. Apprenticeships are designed to assist in the professional development of an apprentice, in preparation for the post-apprenticeship role. Program Managers will facilitate an apprentice's required path for professional development. This ensures an apprentice will have gained the proficiency and obtained the required experience of a fully functioning Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant.
Wells Fargo is seeking to fill two roles:
- One position on the FCAMS Risk Analytics Services (RAS) team, which provides financial crimes analytics and reporting across the enterprise. This includes management reporting for FCRM, operational support for the investigations teams, research for the alerting teams, and reporting for the front line businesses to assist in their risk management programs.

One position on the Data Integrity Team addresses data inquires and identifies potential data issues. Defines issues clearly and concisely to determine root cause and associated risk. Documents and tracks data inquires/issues in JIRA from conception to completion/resolution. In addition, the team owns the NEWTON enterprise wire application, provides support on all project work to ensure data quality and accuracy that aligns with business requirements and functional design.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems
- Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements
- Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems
- Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions
- Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes
- Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables
- Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams
Required Qualifications, US:
- 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding USA PATRIOT Act and Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements
- Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
- SharePoint site design and admin functions experience
- SQL Programming Experience (Teradata preferred)
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
- Understanding of the banking industry and products (DDA, brokerage, ACH, wires, etc.)
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
- SQL experience
- Experience with corporate wide systems such as Hogan, OIB, SVP or Mobius Archive.
- 2+ years of experience with BSA/AML/OFAC laws and regulations
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

- Enrollment into Wells Fargo's DOL Registered Apprentice Program is required. Apprentices are considered full-time employees within the program. As such, Apprentices are expected to not only uphold and adhere to Wells Fargo and the Apprenticeship Program, but also expected to follow Wells Fargo's prescribed policies, procedures, and employee expectations
