RF Systems Engineer

Are you an RF systems engineer ready to assist Parsons and the US Army in using state of the art tools to support advancing the Army’s next generation of RF systems?

Parsons welcomes an exceptional systems engineer to join our on-going Science and Technology (S&T) efforts at one of the Army’s premier R&D Centers at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. As part of the Parsons team supporting advanced multi-function Radio Frequency (RF) capabilities development, you will have access to state-of-the-art engineering and modeling tools and subject matter expertise in the areas of RF, M&S, and software/hardware development for current and future Army radar and sensor systems. Working as part of our high-caliber, dynamic team, you will support the advancement of RF concepts to develop and implement scalable multi-function RF technologies. You will support technical coordination with internal and external organizations to address requirements definition, use case development, and subsystem integration. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist with technical and engineering discussions to assist with multi-function use cases and design for RF systems
  • Provide expertise on the development and integration of RF system components and utilize modeling & simulation to provide independent assessment and analysis
  • Assist with review of technical details and information associated with the design milestones, technical reviews and CDRLs
  • Collaborate with various technical leads associated with the integration of multi-function capability into a single system
  • Assist with design, SE processes, and documentation, associated with a multifunctional RF effort

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (STEM) w/ 5+ years of experience or master’s degree (STEM) w/ 3+ years of experience
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Strong technical understanding of RF Systems and Modeling & Simulation
  • Experience and/or understanding of RF Systems, Systems Engineering Practices, Modeling & Simulation, System Integration
  • Clearly communicates complex ideas and produces/presents clear, well-organized presentations in relevant terms for audiences at all levels

Desired Qualifications:

  • Clear and effective oral and written communications skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Microsoft Project
  • Goal-oriented with excellent people skills, ability to work in a team environment, strong work ethic and proactive in all manners related to the job
  • Ability to work full time

Salary Range: 

$92,200.00 - $161,400.00
