LinQuest is seeking a Senior Acquisition Support Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

LinQuest is the prime contractor on the MSEIT contract. By applying to this position, you are in consideration for LinQuest employment. However, you also have the option to be hired by one of our subcontractor teammates.

You will join a Systems Engineering team defining the next generation of space communication systems supporting Space Force Military Satellite Communications. You will support Systems Engineering & Integration activities in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment. You will interface and collaborate with SE&I team members, contractors, government civilians and members of the USSF to provide acquisition management development and support.

The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Space Force’s Space Systems Command. We support the Space Force’s acquisition of state of the art Military Satellite Communications systems, providing global secure protected communications for our nation’s warfighters. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide DoD acquisition planning for SATCOM mission acquisition contracts
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in DoD acquisition policy
  • Interface and coordinate with Government program office personnel and other stakeholders
  • Lead and support development of acquisition strategy documents
  • Create detailed technical and programmatic acquisition plans to achieve successful DoD milestone decisions
  • Develop acquisition documentation, such as Statements of Work, Requests for Proposals, contract attachments, Source Selection Plans, and acquisition schedules
  • Coordinate and participate in source selection activities
  • Form teams and execute acquisition plans leading up to successful contract awards
Required Skills

  • BS in technical field, such as engineering, math, physics, and computer science
  • Demonstrated understanding of DoD acquisition policies and processes and ability to apply DoD policies to program plans
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with DoD customers
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Current and active Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position
Required Experience:

  • 10+ years DoD acquisition experience
  • Past experience leading DoD acquisition programs through major milestone decisions
Preferred Skills:

  • MS degree
  • Certifications in DoD acquisition
  • Current TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Experience:

  • Space acquisition experience
  • MILSATCOM experience
  • Systems engineering experience
Compensation:The salary for this position ranges from approximately $130,000 to $150,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
