We are currently seeking a Federal Account Executive - Civilian Agencies (remote: Washington D.C. area) to join our team in Tysons, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

NTT DATA Services Federal Sector Vertical is currently looking for a DC metro-based Federal Account Executive to join our team. This is an individual contributor role responsible for driving the identification, development and leading overall deal pursuit/capture of I.T. Solution and Professional Services opportunities within Federal Civilian Agencies, e.g., GSA, SSA, HUD, US Postal Service, Architect of the Capitol, DOT, etc.

Job Level Specific Duties & Skills:
  • Oversees and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects in line with NTT DATA's overall sales and growth strategy
  • Identifies and researches top prospects, developing detailed account plans in line with a sale methodology and driving sufficient demand to meet quarterly and annual targets.
  • Utilizes advanced knowledge of NTT DATA's service offerings and understanding of the client's business to develop value-add proposals that present creative solutions focused on delivering targeted outcomes
  • Build sales pipeline and develop/executive pursuit strategy
  • Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales quota.
  • Strong influencing, presentation, and professional sales skills
  • Ability to develop long-term strategic and executive level relationships
  • Proven track record of building internal and external relationships, influencing thinking through a consultative sales process, and closing complex services sales

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Existing relationships with clients at multiple GS levels across multiple Federal Civilian Agencies to include working knowledge of multiple Civilian Agencies organization structure, operating environment, and strategic direction
  • Experience in Federal proposal development and managing capture and delivery efforts
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape, including an understanding of key contract vehicles used
  • Established relationships/network across industry with large contractors, SBs, and product vendors
  • Able to establish net new client relationships and supporting all aspects of the sales lifecycle including opportunity identification, qualification, account penetration, pursuit strategy, and contracting processes
  • Alliance/channel partners experience to craft and support the sale of solutions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to consult with government clients and contractor community executives
  • Able to meet/exceed ACV of $6M and TCV of $16M
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Experience supporting market assessment, strategic planning, pipeline development and qualification, and closing pursuit deals
  • Track record of meeting and/or exceeding individual new business quota

Basic Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years business development leading sales pursuits in Federal space
  • Minimum 8 years selling experience selling technical services in any of the following: IT Infrastructure, Applications Modernization, Advisory/Consulting, Digital & Application, Infrastructure, Cloud, Mobility & Security, Business Process Outsourcing and/or advisory consulting
