Job Description
Summary
- The Sr. Technical Leader will work with IS&T's cross-functional solutions teams to deliver incremental high-quality engineered solutions. You will bring proven experience in delivering solutions helping to lead large and complex multi-technology agile projects and will possess the skills to interact, negotiate, and work with a broad range of personalities and functions, including the technical teams, other business owners, project operations, quality assurance and program manager/scrum master. At times manage projects using the Agile methodology.
- Develop and manage the product backlog of stories.
- Write comprehensive business requirements and documentation
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in the team's functional area. Has the natural curiosity to ask inquisitive questions and uncover additional use cases and dependencies
- Work with business, engineering, and technical consultants and quality consultants to decompose business stories into system-level stories and/or designs.
- Socialize functionality with business users, including driving UAT and demos.
- Exposure to CI/CD, TDD, and ATDD
- Solicit, Analyze and define requirements for large-scale projects (integrations with other systems and Migrations, Analytics, etc.).
- Business analysis/project management experience in a cloud/digital environment
- Builds a culture of accountability and ownership by empowering teams to make decisions as close to the work as possible
- Ensure that the sprints and product releases are in alignment with the overall business and technical architecture
- Track milestones, activities and interdependencies across projects and tasks, with frequent status updates.
- Manage the work intake process for enhancement and support requests (i.e., requests for new development, etc.)
- Design dashboards and reports to present meaningful data Insights to
- stakeholders and development teams for driving functionalities and decision
- making.
- • Improves management and operations by conducting systems/data analysis and
- recommending changes in integration workflows and procedures.
Education / Experience / Background
- You have min. 10 years of experience as a technical analyst (or functional analyst or product owner or business analyst) or similar through experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineer or related field with progressive experience in Software Development. Consulting Experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills supporting recommendations, design ideas, and analysis to team and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of data management best practices.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Previous experience as a BSA or BA or Product Owner or Functional Analyst or Scrum Master Understanding or experience in using productized APIs, SaaS, SOA, Cloud Services, and Content(/Digital Asset) Management Systems
- Experience with Agile Scrum process and Backlog Management systems
- Experience reviewing and elaborating business and technical requirements
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment
- You're a specialist who knows the features and capabilities needed to engage developers to define a solution for business needs
- Familiarity with no-code/low-code application development platforms
- Have a deep understanding of standard methodologies around implementation
- Some travel required
