GENERAL PURPOSE:
Responsible for general ledger functions including the preparation of international offices accounting journal entries, consolidation and elimination, intercompany cross charge, related reconciliations, statutory annual reporting, and audit. Also responsible for assigned corporate account analysis, internal management reporting, and financial statements preparation.

The base salary range for this role is $87,700 - $132,400. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manage the general ledger and close activities for all international offices to ensure accurate and timely close.

• Work with international accountants to prepare journal entries and reconciling international cash accounts and revaluation of foreign currency translation

• Prepare account reconciliations, elimination of intercompany transactions, annual statutory reporting, and required audit

• Work with business partners and international accountants to resolve intercompany discrepancies as needed

• Prepare intercompany reimbursement billing to cross-charge appropriate legal entities

• Collaborate with Tax team to perform appropriate intercompany accounting activities for transfer pricing agreement, including reconciliation

• Work with international accountants to reconcile local books to US book

• Prepare and file statutory annual reports timely and accurately

• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures for international offices to maintain consistency and accuracy of information, including in compliance with company policies and internal control SOX framework.

• Establish internal control procedures and ensure compliance to maintain data integrity

• Design and maintain procedures and system flow to ensure efficient, timely and quality data

• Preparation of internal management reporting including variance explanations, budgeting and forecasting

• Anticipate current accounting or operational issues or events and propose recommendations

• Coordinates the preparation and review of general accounting workpapers related to quarterly and annual examinations of financial statements by external auditors

• Assist in system implementation to ensure accuracy and data integrity

• Complete special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• BS degree in Finance or Accounting is required

• CPA a plus

• Five years or more of related accounting experience including international accounting and consolidation

• Must have experience and strong understanding of intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and topside adjusting entries. Solid knowledge of consolidations accounting.

• Strong organization and analytical skills.

• Problem-solver who can deliver results and implement solutions to support international business future growth.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to perform job functions independently, prioritizes multiple tasks, and performs accurately with short deadlines.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Microsoft TEAM collaboration tool, virtual meetings, etc.

• Working knowledge of US GAAP. Thorough knowledge of accounting theory and practice

• Ability to cope with pressure and changing priorities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
This position requires the ability to work in an office environment, including using a computer, attending meetings, working as part of a team, and the ability to communicate with team members and others. Regular attendance also is a requirement of the position.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
