We are seeking a highly motivatedPractice Leaderto lead our growing Construction Management Services Team in California supporting various Water/Wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with California Department of Water Resources, leading teams to win and deliver work for construction and project management projects with various municipalities and state water agencies in California.
Job Duties:
- Ability to execute best practices on a wide variety of projects for a wide variety of clients, adapting to new environments quickly
- Manage multiple job-site staff members remotely, ensuring proper oversight and development of staff
- Subcontractor management including budget, scheduling and change orders.
- Responsible for P&L on each project. Become thoroughly knowledgeable of project costs and meet margin expectations.
- Champion job site safety effort and implement TRC safety program.
- Oversee quality management program to achieve contract compliance and quality projects.
- Be involved in all project aspects including design/study development, construction management, project management, RFI's/RFPs/Submittals and client meetings
- Oversee project staff with construction management tasks such as material submittal reviews build reviews and coordination with Contractors.
- Oversee project staff in the production of project plans, specifications, scheduling, budgeting, technical memorandums and cost estimates
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, cities/clients, and other public agencies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
- Professional Engineering License in CA
- Previous experience working with California Department of Water Resources
- 15 years of related experience in municipal and state Water/ Wastewater projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be flexible, well organized, accountable and dependable
- Physically able to perform work in the field
Compensation:
In accordance with local law, the following compensation range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition: $180,000-$276,000. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
