Job Summary

We are looking for a creative part-time Social Media Content Intern to join our Salt Lake City team with a passion for social media marketing, content creation, copywriting, trend forecasting, and strategy implementation. You will work with our corporate social media marketing team and the Member Experience Director by implementing corporate-driven social media strategies and creating content at the local level.

  • This is an in-person opportunity open to anyone legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating content on site for Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and LinkedIn. This includes taking photos, videos, etc.
  • Work with the social media marketing team to write engaging post copy, captions, hashtags, and descriptions with keen attention to detail
  • Develop a robust and engaging social media marketing editorial content calendar and work with the corporate team on strategy implementation
  • Develop unique TikTok content focused on new and upcoming trends while keeping our Club’s brand looking professional
  • Manage social media accounts including, but not limited to community management, content creation, scheduling, and reporting

About You

  • Previous social media/marketing intern experience is a plus
  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for social media marketing and branding and sports media
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience editing and creating content on Canva
  • Strong copywriting skills and ability to adapt voice and tone to fit the brand
  • Experience creating and editing content for Tik Tok and managing content
  • Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and LinkedIn
  • An eye for branding and trend forecasting with the ability to apply social media trends at the local level
  • Desire to learn and contribute to an evolving division of the Invited Clubs portfolio

Other Details

  • This role may require work during the weekends due to football and basketball games. The position will be part-time and around 20 hours a week
  • This is an in-person opportunity; this role will require an individual to be in person to collect and create content on-site at the Ken Garff Scholarship Club at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT
