Partner with the best
 

Responsible for performing quality assurance in the manufacturing processes. Responsible for non-conformance reports and assures that manufactured units meet quality specifications, procedures and customer requirements. Implements corrective action and preventive measures to ensure quality practices are place in and in practice in the manufacturing processes.
 

As a Quality Assurance Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting and approves incoming parts by visual inspection to ensure meeting quality standards and rejects parts that fail to meet quality standards and communicates results of inspection with appropriate team
  • Ensuring the outgoing processes meet quality standards by verifying availability of required documentation, signoffs, certificates, checkforms, routers, etc. and signs off accordingly
  • Collecting data, gathers evidence, tracking time and costs, and creates non-conformance reports along with the engineering team and the shop team for timely closure of the non-conformance reports
  • Verifying no open quality concerns exist on completed jobs. Escalates any open concerns to the right team member for timely closure
  • Informing quality leader of any uncalibrated tools and collects required information and adds missing tools and machines to the database

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Inspections in a manufacturing environment
  • Able to work effectively in team environment in a matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of tools and machines (CNC Lathe, balance machines, welding machines, dial indicators, calipers, etc.) is a must.
  • Knowledge in gas turbines is a plus.
