We’re building a brand new semiconductor processing chamber and need a strong team to accomplish this task under a tight timeline. We’re looking to hire someone with a strong electrical engineering background who has expanded their scope to encompass larger electro/mechanical/RF systems.

Responsibilities
  • Work with team to generate overall systems architecture and subsystem requirements to meet market needs.
  • Create concepts for solutions meeting subsystem requirements.
  • Lead team evaluations of concepts to provide recommendation for best solution based on performance, cost, lead time, etc.
  • Guide electrical, software, and controls teams in converting subsystem concepts into designs.
  • Select and work with suppliers to convert designs into hardware.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and test newly designed hardware.
  • Refine hardware/software/controls based on tested performance.


Qualifications
  • Degree in electrical engineering plus industry experience (10+ for bachelors, 4+ for PhD)
  • Experience designing/troubleshooting RF circuits, including RF filters and matching networks.
  • Prior knowledge of Beckhoff safety PLCs is a plus.
  • Prefer some experience working with multi-axis robots and motion controls
