We are seeking an Engineering RMA Worst Actors (SME) - Space Systems Commandto support the Satellite Control Network (SCN) within Space Systems Command (SSC) in its mission to sustain and modernize the SCN and provide highly reliable telemetry, tracking, command, communication and control (TT&C3) for more than 170 Department of Defense (DoD), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), civil and allied satellites.

As aSpace Programs Engineering SME with LinQuest,you will provide support the Satellite Control Network (SCN) within Space Systems Command (SSC) in its mission to sustain and modernize the SCN and provide highly reliable telemetry, tracking, command, communication and control (TT&C3) for more than 170 Department of Defense (DoD), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), civil and allied satellites.

As an Engineering SME, you will integrate new systems and services into the Battle Management Command, Control & Communications Sustainment (BCS) programs, gain support for new and on-going efforts in all phases of the acquisition life cycle and develop and utilize engineering technical services to obtain systems engineering support and processes within BCS.

The Engineering SME shall perform the following functions to include but not limited to:

  • Collecting, normalizing, and inputting data.
  • Cost modeling.
  • Performing in-depth research.
  • Reconciling complex data and information across multiple systems and reports.
  • Utilizing complex software in the development of analytical models.
  • Interpreting results to generate multiple recommended courses of action.
  • Building staffing packages.
  • Comprehending and applying concepts and guidance.
  • Effectively implementing instructions and policies into routine performance.
  • Developing tools and applications to foster efficiency in day-to-day activities.
Required experience:

  • Minimum eight (8) years relevant experience performing security activities in the Government(military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit ornon-profit Government support or development Contractor arena.
  • Experience supportingReliability, Maintainability, and Availability(RMA) research, analysis, reporting and resolution relevant to space programs.

  • Minimum three (3) years ofAcquisition Category III level software and hardwareprogram with research, analysis, reporting and resolution for RMA and Worst Actors within arelevant space sustainment effort.

  • SME level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the use of an electronic government authorized information management system, collaboration portal, or integrated data environment (IDE).
Education Requirements:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university relevant to their area of expertise limited to the following: Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, and Engineering Management.

Clearance Requirements: Active Secret clearance.

Compensation:The starting salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $150,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
