Job Description:

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for planning, implementation, and maintenance of SGS solutions.

  • Manage, design, configure and maintain cloud-based infrastructure for different Federal Government customers.

  • You will be responsible for maintaining these systems, configuring both operating systems and software products, as well as installing required software patches and security updates for the systems.

  • Execute cyber hardening through DISA STIG implementation / System Hardening and working within Configuration-Managed Environments.

  • Prepare and submit status reports, and technical briefs, as required, to supervisor, senior management, and customers.

  • Provide system troubleshooting skills and develop alternative solutions

  • Develop, revise, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance on associated systems and network assets.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must currently possess a Secret security clearance.

  • System Administration skills in an Enterprise Windows Server environment.

  • Previous DoD experience with classified and unclassified networks.

  • Information technology (IT) security principles and methods (e.g., firewalls, demilitarized zones, encryption).

  • Experience with installation and maintenance of authentication/authorization software e.g. Active Directory

  • Experience with VMware ESXi host, clusters, managing virtual machines, and configuration.

  • Experience with interpretation and application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

  • Great interpersonal and communications skills with a desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed support environment supporting several simultaneous efforts, and possess a willingness to take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and 5+ years of system administration. Additional years of experience may be substituted in place a Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Requirement: DoD IAT Level 2 Certification must be obtained prior to or within 60 days of hire. ONE of the following certifications fills this requirement:

    • Security+ CE Certification

    • CCNA Security

    • CySA+

    • GICSP

    • GSEC

    • CND

    • SSCP

Preferred Qualifications:

  • System Administration skills in Red Hat Linux

  • AWS GovCloud Experience a BIG plus

  • Experience with installation and maintenance of SQL databases

  • Experience with cybersecurity tools e.g. ACAS, SIEM, HBSS

Salary Range: 

$67,400.00 - $118,000.00
