Our subsidiary, ICT GmbH, develops and manufactures electron microscopy columns, the heart of our machines that inspect defects on semiconductors. For the production of our complex high-end electron microscopes, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer (m/w/d) who would be responsible for the design, development and implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle

Your tasks:
  • You contribute to make future microchip-generations more powerful
  • You are accountable for design and building of new components of scanning electron microscopy for prototypes and standard parts and attend the transfer of prototypes into serial production
  • You design “cutting-edge”-technologies in collaboration with other teams
  • You are responsible for the constructive implementation of your projects internally as well as with suppliers
  • You outline corresponding documentations and instructions in accordance to current standards
  • You assist our production at standard manufacturing and at problem solving


Required Skills:
  • Bachelor/master’s degree in engineering or precision engineering or graduation as a technician
  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience as a constructor
  • Knowledge/ experience in FEM (e.g. Ansys) and/or (ultra-)high vacuum and high-voltage components would be an added advantage
  • Experience in using programs like Inventor, TeamCenter and SAP are preferable
  • Organizational skills and structured workings
  • Creative thinking and interested in unconventional design solutions
  • Experience in international teams are preferable
  • Fluent written and oral German and English skills
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office

  • Sie tragen dazu bei, zukünftige Microchip-Generationen noch leistungsfähiger zu machen
  • Verantwortlich entwerfen und konstruieren Sie Komponenten für die Rasterelektronenmikroskopie für Prototypen und Serienteile, und begleiten die Übertragung der Prototypen in die Serienproduktion
  • Sie Konstruieren „cutting-edge“-Technologien am Rande des technisch Machbaren, eng zusammen mit den Kollegen (auch) aus der Physik
  • Sie sind verantwortlich für die konstruktive Umsetzung Ihrer Projekte sowohl intern als auch beim Lieferanten
  • Sie entwerfen entsprechende Dokumentationen und Anweisungen unter Einhaltung der aktuellen Normen
  • Sie unterstützen unsere Produktion bei Standardfertigung und bei Problemlösungen


Ihr Profil:
  • Ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Maschinenbau/Feinwerktechnik oder einen Abschluss als Techniker
  • Mindestens 3-5 Jahre fachspezifische Berufserfahrung als Konstrukteur
  • Kenntnisse/Erfahrungen in FEM (z.B. Ansys) und/oder (Ultra-)Hochvakuum- und Hochspannungskomponenten wären ein zusätzlicher Vorteil
  • Kenntnisse in der Bedienung der Programme Inventor, TeamCenter und SAP sind wünschenswert
  • Organisationstalent und eine strukturierte Arbeitsweise
  • Kreatives Denken und Spaß an unkonventionellen Konstruktionslösungen
