Job Description
This role is responsible for leading various financial aspects of the Public & Labor business ("PLS"), with financial planning, reporting and analytics support. In particular this role with collaborate closely with the local markets, underwriting and COE to manage the segment as a whole. This position will assume a leadership role in the preparation of the budget/forecast, close materials, ASC rate execution materials and other ad hoc processes.

Public and Labor is a segment with ~2M members and generates ~$2B in annual commercial revenue.

Specifically this role is responsible for the following activities:
- Membership reporting and analysis as part of the monthly close and forecast. Includes development of materials for MOR or meet day deliverables as needed.
- Supporting a culture of cost management excellence through ongoing reviews of direct cost center expenses with PLS leadership. Also understanding all expenses impacting the P&L
- Supporting full P&L analytics including case level premiums and medical cost analytics
- Executive leadership exposure and opportunities to present during forecast or close reviews and more
- Manage rate execution for PLS self-funded business

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 43,700
Maximum: 97,400

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of healthcare industry experience
- 2+ years of finance, underwriting, or actuarial equivalent financial-based experience

Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of hyperion and/other other financial reporting applications

Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
