Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mid-level Software Developer to join our team! In this role you will get to work on defense, intelligence, and space programs critical to our nation's safety.

Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and code software components, units, and modules to meet product specifications and development schedules for clients/customers

  • Test and debug software components and units.

  • Participate in an agile team involving daily standups, biweekly planning, regular retrospectives, and stakeholder demos

  • Contribute to and lead technical design discussions

  • Adhere to product build and release schedules and strategies

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly

  • BS in Computer Science or related technical field with 5+ years of related professional experience
    or MS with 3+ years
    or PhD with 0-1 years

  • Experience with Java and/or C++

  • Experience with Python and/or scripting or automation languages

  • Experience with Javascript

  • Experience with DevSecOps and associated tools, such as Jenkins

  • Knowledge of one or more platforms and operating systems

  • Knowledge of one or more systems architectures such as client/server and distributed processing

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Security+ Certification

  • Experience on an Agile development team or knowledge of Agile fundamentals

  • Experience with Cloud computing, such as AWS or Azure

  • Experience with Containerization tools, such as Kubernetes and Docker

Typical Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000

Salary Range: 

$92,200.00 - $161,400.00
