Position is for 1 year to start with extensions contingent on funding, performance, and needs of the lab.
Research Technician II position in the Molecular Genetics and Microbiology department at Duke University as part of Dr. Hiro Matsunami’s research program on Chemical Senses. The major focus of the laboratory is to understand how our sense of smell works.
Work requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably in biology, chemistry, psychology, math or other scientific field. Experience with and/or motivation to learn laboratory skills such as mouse handling, molecular biology and olfactory related neurobiology is preferred.
