Make an Impact! To support and educate patients regarding all aspects of their addiction; to be an active member of the treatment team in the formulation of assessments, documentation, supervision, and behavioral redirection, as to assist in training new clinical aides. The Senior Clinical Aide works to ensure that there is consistency across all units: Short-Term Detox and Inpatient Unit. The Senior Clinical Aide, when assigned, schedules topics and clinical aides to perform various functions including lectures, bag checks, safety rounds, and other functions related to the care and safety of patients.

Position: Senior Clinical Aide
Shift: 2nd shift, 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Experience:
Knowledge of addiction, the biopsychosocial influences and effects of dependencies, the range of treatment and its appropriate use. Ability to work in a supportive, caring and non-judgmental manner with staff and patients in order to gain confidence and cooperation of the patients. Ability to function calmly in crisis situations. Ability to plan and organize work and to adequately express ideas orally and in writing. Possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all staff, patients and outside agencies, family and general public
