RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Employee management including, coaching, scheduling and dispatching
- Oversee repair work and operations of the entire service department
- Manage and track technician training requirements
- Ensure sufficient resources are available to include parts, schedule work and personnel
- Coordinate repair/rework/maintenance in order to obtain optimum utilization
- Build/maintain relationships with customers by communicating updates and answering questions
- Diagnose repair work and handle customer complaints, questions and concerns
- Assist with warranty and service quotes and various administrative duties
- Work closely with other department heads, (Branch Manager/Parts Manager/Sales Manager)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior dealership service department experience strongly preferred
- 3+ years supervisory experience with proven customer service and service department success
- Ideal candidate will be a self starter and work with a sense of urgency
- Ability to recruit, train and motivate highly effective teammates
- Excellent computer and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to professionally manage difficult customer situations
- Strong commitment to safety and training
- Passionate about customer satisfaction
