Job Description
A Research Associate position is immediately available to study neuromodulation of metabolism and the immune system. This is a great opportunity to join our project to study the physiologic, cellular, and molecular mechanisms mediating neuro-modulation of the immune and metabolic systems during infectious disorders such as sepsis. The project focusses on the interplay between the nervous and immune system and how neurotransmitters modulate the immune and metabolic responses to infections. You will join our laboratory of Bioelectronic immunology to study how activation of specific neuronal networks modulate organ function and physiologic homeostasis.
