Our subsidiary, ICT GmbH, develops and manufactures electron microscopy columns, the heart of our machines that inspect defects on semiconductors. For the production of our complex high-end electron microscopes, we are looking for an experienced Planning Manager (m/w/d) who m anages professional employees and/or supervisors. and is accountable for the performance and results of a team within own job family.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participates in the development of the division manufacturing plan. Establishes materials schedules and floor schedules to meet the manufacturing plan.
  • Ensures optimum inventory levels and verifies inventories by overseeing the conduct of physical inventories. Manages variance exposure minimization; creates and monitors action plans to address and resolve variance issues; develops and implements business processes to address short-term or long-term issues.
  • Establishes, maintains, publishes and utilizes effective management measurement tools for use within organization. Owns, generates and verifies metrics; provides input regarding metrics under development. Creates and monitors action plans to address and resolve metric issues.
  • Represents materials organization on corporate materials task force teams. Manages department budget, associated costs and resources.
  • Designs new business programs and framework for process documentation. Documents revisions to business processes and new business processes in ISO format across divisions.
  • May operate in a spares environment; responsible for designing spares business processes, through partnership with CPS, to better serve customers and manage DSOs.
  • Works with internal customers, manufacturing, engineering, marketing and spares to understand overall requirements. Ensures adequate headcount available to support business needs; ensures effective recruitment, training and retention of key staff. Communicates projected needs to suppliers; manages exceptions affecting plan.

Required Skills and Abilities
  • College degree in Industrial Engineering or its equivalent. A master degree in business administration (ideally Supply Chain Management) could be an added advantage.
  • 5+ years of inventory management, supply planning, material planning, or demand planning experience
  • Semiconductor experience strongly preferred (particularly in Parts, Warranty, or Service).
  • Thorough functional and transactional knowledge of ERP or supply chain systems (SAP, SPP).
  • Self-starter, high level of personal accountability, demonstrated project management skills and an innovative individual.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to work with internal and external contacts at various levels within organizations to represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Ability to align people to a common goal and to think and react in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to evaluate and analyze data to enable operational decision-making or present clear recommendations to leadership.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit of winning and demonstrate effective contributions in a team environment.
  • Precision and clarity in communications: verbal, written, and graphical data presentation
