Primary Purpose and Essential Duties

The IT Business Systems Analyst partners with business leadership to understand and clearly define their challenges and opportunities, and to recommend technology solutions that address them. Acts as a liaison between the various internal and external stakeholders, and service providers, to drive change and implement technology solutions. The IT Business Systems Analyst's responsibilities include:
  • Gathers business requirements; produces system designs and technical specifications; configures software; designs data conversions, integrations, reports, and enhancements; tests technology solutions; trains key stakeholders such as support personnel, system administrators, and end users; maintains and supports business software
  • Develops and maintains a detailed understanding of:
    • how application software has been configured and integrated to support business needs
    • database structures, data use, process inputs and outputs for his/her responsible functions
  • Acts as project manager and subject matter expert for technology projects within his/her portfolio
  • Communicates with application users to address incidents, fulfill requests, administer changes and resolve problems, as per established technology policies and best practices
  • Provides timely production support by meeting SLA's
  • Escalate issues to management when appropriate
  • Mentoring and educating other team members
  • Assist IT management and end-users to determine feasibility of potential systems projects
  • Willingness to learn the user role/security administration functions of newer technologies brought in to the applications portfolio
This position is Full Time, Exempt and reports to the Director of Enterprise Applications.

Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of ERP systems: UKG, Ajera, JDE
  • 4 - 6 years supporting business applications within IT organization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Work under general direction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience using MS Office, Visio, and Project
  • Knowledge of SQL
Preferred Education, Experience and Qualifications
  • Project Management Experience
  • Knowledge of SharePoint administration, digital document management
  • Knowledge of Engineering applications - Revit, Autocad, Autodesk
Travel Requirements
  • Must be willing to travel (~20%)

  • The physical demands described here are the minimum requirements of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job duty. While performing his or her job duties an employee must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, and or stoop. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds. Must also be able to work indoors and outdoors.
The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$125,000 per year however base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, Bernhard offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage; life, accident and disability insurances, and a 401(k) plan.
